Why it can work
- Few sellers compared with other products
- Low brand or licence risk if the design is your own
- Seasonal demand: Spring planting, roughly March to June
Why it might fail
- Thin public evidence, so treat these numbers with care
- No reliable public price found
Be aware before you sell
Thingiverse and MakerWorld files were listed as free, but free to download does not mean free to sell prints. Brand risk is low, though Gardena-style hose systems should be named only for compatibility. Etsy asks for your own original design, so a licensed file may not qualify.
How to get a file you may sell
- Make your own. Tinkercad is free and enough for simple shapes.
- Buy a commercial licence. Many designers on Cults3D, MyMiniFactory and Etsy sell one. Read what it allows.
- Use open licences. CC0 and CC BY allow selling prints. NC does not. Filter by licence on Printables or MakerWorld and keep a screenshot.

Our take
No finished retail price was found for spacers or splitters, and the audience seems to be printer owners looking for free files. Parts on a mains hose also carry a burst and leak risk, so nothing here justifies a listing yet.
Competition
Public signals suggest low competition.
We have not confirmed any yet.
