Why it can work
- Few sellers compared with other products
- Low brand or licence risk if the design is your own
Why it might fail
- Thin public evidence, so treat these numbers with care
- No reliable public price found
Be aware before you sell
Most clip files are free community uploads with unchecked terms, so measure and model your own where you can. Use the appliance brand and part number only to state fit, and avoid implying an original spare part. Etsy asks for your own original design, so a licensed file may not qualify.
How to get a file you may sell
- Make your own. Tinkercad is free and enough for simple shapes.
- Buy a commercial licence. Many designers on Cults3D, MyMiniFactory and Etsy sell one. Read what it allows.
- Use open licences. CC0 and CC BY allow selling prints. NC does not. Filter by licence on Printables or MakerWorld and keep a screenshot.

Our take
Each part has a small market, but a buyer with a broken rack has few alternatives, so a searchable catalogue by part number could work. Heat, detergent and contact with dishware items make the material the hard part: PETG, ASA or nylon rather than PLA, with users reporting ABS failing, and heating, electrical or gas parts should never be sold.
Competition
Public signals suggest low competition.

Make it your own
- Solve one annoying problem for one type of pet or home
