Why it can work
- Strong seasonal buying
- LED light makes prints look premium
Why it might fail
- Short sales window
- Print-farm competition
- Bowls add food-contact questions if unlined
Be aware before you sell
One Skull Pumpkin model needs designer membership for commercial use, so check every file. Generic pumpkins are safe, but Nightmare Before Christmas style characters are not. Etsy asks for your own original design, so a licensed file may not qualify.
How to get a file you may sell
- Make your own. Tinkercad is free and enough for simple shapes.
- Buy a commercial licence. Many designers on Cults3D, MyMiniFactory and Etsy sell one. Read what it allows.
- Use open licences. CC0 and CC BY allow selling prints. NC does not. Filter by licence on Printables or MakerWorld and keep a screenshot.

Our take
Halloween demand is real and buyers want decor, but finished printed prices could not be confirmed and files are cheap. It works with a small original range launched by August, and fails if stock is left in November.
Competition
Bambu kits, cheap file sites and many hobby sellers make this a busy seasonal niche.
