Why it can work
- Low brand or licence risk if the design is your own
Why it might fail
- Thin public evidence, so treat these numbers with care
- No reliable public price found
Be aware before you sell
Free files are plentiful with mixed terms, and Etsy reportedly wants your own design. Generic part; avoid NVIDIA or RTX branding on the print and in titles. Etsy asks for your own original design, so a licensed file may not qualify.
How to get a file you may sell
- Make your own. Tinkercad is free and enough for simple shapes.
- Buy a commercial licence. Many designers on Cults3D, MyMiniFactory and Etsy sell one. Read what it allows.
- Use open licences. CC0 and CC BY allow selling prints. NC does not. Filter by licence on Printables or MakerWorld and keep a screenshot.

Our take
No finished price could be confirmed, and free files serve a technical crowd that often owns a printer. A wide stable base and heat-resistant material would be the only edge, since PLA near a hot GPU is a concern.
Make it your own
- Fit it to one device or desk setup people search for
- Add a useful extra, like a cable slot or hidden storage
- Offer colour pairs that match popular setups
